Italy 1990: On the night in which Italy is eliminated in a penalty shoot-out with Argentina, a famous film producer is found dead in the river Tiber. The main suspects of the murder are three young aspiring screenwriters, summoned to the Carabinieri to relate their version of events.
Magical Nights is the story of their intrepid adventure in the splendour and misery of the last glorious season of Italian cinema.
