A strange murder wreaks havoc in the monotonous life of Acitrullo, a small town in the middle of rural Abruzzo. What better chance for the mayor (Maccio Capatonda) and his deputy (Herbert Ballerina) to put the town on the map? Indeed, not only does the police turn up, but so does a TV crew from the infamous programme “Chi l’acciso?” (Who’s the Killer?) hosted by Donatella Spruzzone (Sabrina Ferilli).
Thanks to the TV broadcast and the mayor’s shrewdness, Acitrullo soon becomes as famous, if not more so, than Cogne!
