Marco Belardi, born in 1973, is the CEO and founder of Lotus Production, a cinema and TV company founded in 2004. In 2014 Lotus was acquired by Leone Film Group, acting as a production division for Italian films and TV-Series.
Among the films produced by Marco Belardi there are hits such as “The Immature” and its sequel “Immaturi – Il viaggio”, “Blame Freud”, “Perfect Strangers” and “The Place” all directed by Paolo Genovese. “Italiano Medio” by Maccio Capatonda, “Il professor Cenerentolo” by Leonardo Pieraccioni and “Like Crazy” by Paolo Virzì. Belardi has also produced “The Immature – The Series” directed by Rolando Ravello for Mediaset.
Among the latest titles by Lotus Productions there are “Appena un minute” by Francesco Mandelli, “Vivere” by Francesca Archibugi, “The Best Years” by Gabriele Muccino, “The Good One” by Vincenzo Marra. Coming soon to cinemas also “Supereroi” by Paolo Genovese and “The Land of Dreams”, an international musical that marks the debut of Nicola Abbatangelo behind the camera.
